Ysgol Maes-Y-Felin

Places to Learn

The Holywell Learning Campus is a unique all-through school and part of the Welsh Assembly Government’s 21st Century Schools programme. It replaced the existing Ysgol Perth Trefyn Infants School,  Ysgol y Fron Junior School and Holywell High School with a bespoke education facility for children up to the age of sixteen.

In this unique design, classrooms wrap around an enclosed central atrium space for the secondary school and an open courtyard for the primary school, promoting an integrated learning environment.

The project was BIM Level 2, achieved BREEAM “Excellent” and was awarded the Construction Excellence Wales BIM Project of the Year Award 2016.
