Lovelock Mitchell is based in Chester and has operated continuously since its foundation by Thomas Lockwood in 1862. The practice name evolved over time with the various changes of leadership over the years, but has been known as Lovelock Mitchell since the early 1970's.

In 2009 the business became a limited company with Andrew Banks and Martin Bocking joining David Hunter and Marc Roberts as fellow Directors of the award winning practice.

The Company has held a premier position in the design of high quality buildings in the north west region and beyond since it’s inception, and currently boasts a close knit team of 24 enthusiastic and committed staff.
