Tribute

It is with great sadness that just a couple of weeks since he popped in to see us we need to announce that Geoffrey Mitchell passed away on Friday 21st July.

Geoffrey (Noel Stanley) Mitchell first joined the practice in 1965 and was made Partner in 1969, at the age of just 30, joining Nigel Lovelock at the helm. He was a great custodian of the practice (which was established in 1860 by Thomas Lockwood), and worked on a great many projects, and many repeat commissions from Shell Research, ICI, Astra Zeneca, to name but a few. He retired from the practice in 2000. RIP Geoffrey. Our thoughts are with your family and friends at this sad time.
