EBN – Modular Schools

This Education Basic Needs programme saw the delivery of eight school expansion projects in Manchester, procured through the NWCH. The first phase commenced in 2016 and included St Margaret’s CE Primary School and St Matthew’s CE Primary School. The second phase commenced in 2017 and included Beaver Road Primary School, Lily Lane Primary School, St. James CE Primary School, Crossacres Primary School, Webster Primary School and Ringway Primary School.

These projects were delivered using a repeatable design based on volumetric steel modular construction. They required a high level of collaboration and partnership, delivering benefits including reduced programmes and cost savings through offsite construction.
