Ysgol Glancegin

Ysgol Glancegin is a unique single form entry primary school on a steeply sloping, heavily constrained site. The building massing was designed to form a split level courtyard to make the most of the available space with classrooms embedded into the landscape and clad in a natural palette of materials.

This building sits in harmony with the topography, whilst providing uninterrupted panoramic views across to Penrhyn Castle and the Snowdonia National Park.

A rigorous stakeholder consultation process and utilising BIM enabled workflows ensured that this complex project was delivered from appointment to site commencement in less than 6 months.
