Lovelock Mitchell were successful in winning a design competition to extend an existing Flintshire owned and operated care home facility in Buckley, North Wales. Appointed by Willmott Dixon through the Scape Framework, Lovelock Mitchell have delivered this exciting BIM level 2 project.

Several layout options were explored which linked the new building to the existing facility and which worked with the design concepts of utilising the existing topography, integrating into the existing landscaping and maximising views for all residents. This approach allowed innovative outdoor spaces to be incorporated to support well-being and health of the residents. This inspirational and innovative design, will make a positive contribution to people’s lives, the environment and the local community.
