Lovelock Mitchell have enjoyed a long relationship with Müller. To meet the growing demand for its products in the UK, multinational dairy product producer Müller commissioned a £50 million expansion of its flagship Telford yoghurt manufacturing facility designed to meet best-practice principles for food production, storage, and dispatch both now and in the future. This 9,600m² extension has doubled the size of the plant, allowing it to increase production from 300 million to 700 million pots a year.

The new facilities include three new state-of-the-art production lines, three upgraded existing lines, a new energy-efficient cooling facility and a 30m-high automated high bay warehouse. Designed using a fabric first approach to energy efficiency we have created a sustainable and attractive addition to the Müller facility in Telford which sits comfortably in its rural surroundings.

Work on the project, which was completed in 2019, was carried out whilst ensuring the smooth running of the Client’s adjacent operations without disruption.
